That was my first children church camp. And it won't be the last. Praying and hoping that there will be more to come.
I love song time. They sang one of my favourite song from my childhood, ' Say to the Lord, I love you." The kids loved the chorus. And they sang it out loud, with all their hearts, minds, soul and strength. I gazed at their faces, I saw the glory of God shining down on them. They sang very loudly, the loudest possible I've ever heard. And they did the actions. It was picture perfect.
I told the Lord in my heart then and then, 'Thank you for choosing me to be here. To serve the children you have given me. To give me a heart of love and compassion for them." I was soaked in the presence of God during the two day camp.
My heart bubbles with excitement to start teaching next yr. And LC is actually thinking about it too. Praise the Lord.
