Boy is ill again, this time, persistent fever for 4 days and irriating cough, causing him poor appetite and little energy. Although it was a long wk end with a public holiday on a monday, we stayed home mostly, didn't get to go church and had to cancel our meeting with our friend.
We spent some good quality time together. Dad read many stories to the children. And munmmy got to sleep in abit as everyone else also had low energy.
He skipped school on tuesday as he was still running a mild temperature. I decided to dig out the 'trash' and make something - a car and a dump truck.
I had an idea for the car to be double deck, but boy prefered it to be just one box for the body. We cut out wheels, stuck some window panes, included some face photos to be driver and passengers. I love the wipers! Both kids enjoyed sticking 'stars' all over the car, in quite a creative manner.
The truck was a good one. Made out of tissue box and 2 plastic containers. First, we glued newspaper all over the tissue box, paint over it with black, then stuck the plastic containers and wheels to it. They thoroughly enjoyed gluing it up, and at the end, stuck stickers all over it too.
All in all, we had fun.
Boy's fever didn't go down. He kept pestering me to bring him to the doc. Somehow, after a doc's visit, he seemed better, perhaps he needed to get the assurance from the doc, like mom and dad, that he's okay. He was alot livelier and chirpier after the visit.
We had a good night.
