Girl started playgroup this yr. She's into her first mth at school. She cried for alomst 2 wks, and now, she takes off her shoes and walks in by herself, sits down and waits patiently for the teacher to check on her.
She adjusted pretty well, telling me things that go on in the class everyday. She cried one day saying there was a fly which landed on her head. And another time, she was afraid of a lion's head which the teacher brought to class to show them about CNY. Very often, she would complain about this boy who touched her hair clip, poke her eye and so on, but i have yet brought it up to the teacher. She exhibits varying behaviour in class, like today, the teacher blew some bubbles, but she didn't like them and just sat by herself at the back of the class.
My kids are special and unique, having their own temperaments... I love and accept them for who they are and not what they can do or what they will become.
