I choose to see my life as a series of celebrations - of life, with new births, of death, knowing my destiny in heaven, of what my child can do and not what he cannot do yet, of sacrifices and pains and treating each incident as a learning experience.

Nathan turns 8
My boy is 8. This yr, we decided on no party, since he's ultimately not the party sort of guy, and doesn't like too much attention on himself. So, we took him on an adventure and cheered him on.
We booked forest adventure at Bedok reservoir. He tried the kids' course and did really well! With the flying fox as the great grand finale. He didn't like that a bit, and altough there was extra time, he refused to go again.
The three of us watched and took multiple shots of him, he was so brave, and we celebrated his achievement that day.
I baked a cheese cake for him and laid many strawberries on the top, he loved it!
Not a typical noisy crowd, just a quiet happy family affair to remember he great day.
