Nathan's first's exams

Wo, its been more than a year I last blogged. But I should not stop there, so here I go. Nathan finished his first exam with flying colours. Full marks for Math, 57/60 for Chinese and 43.5 for English. He worked really hard to revise, with both parents fully involved guiding and teaching him. He doesn't know how fortunate he is, with mum and dad so concerned over his school performance. With collaborated effort, he soared. He reaped great results from his efforts, and we rejoice with him. He also did well for his chinese show and tell - all ticks in the excellent column. Dad wrote the scripts for him and both of us sat through many practices and even recorded him. That surely helped, to see how he looked and sounded on tape. And boy, did we reward him! I bought him his favourite show - how to train your dragon DVD. He is a good natured boy, he didn't ask for any rewards, we generously gave it to him. We really spoil him. We bought him a starwars lego at legoland in sept, and cold storaged it in his cupboard, and i happened to suggest to him he could fix it, he was thrilled. See, he has a simple heart, not greedy for rewards, just plain simple. And i hope he's teachable too. All glory and praise to God.
